Guitar picks as you can see today has a heart shape which originated from the early 1900's and were made by block printing name from guitarist to customized their own personalized guitar picks. Guitarists on the early days carved their own personalized guitar picks from materials such as bones and shells.
As of today, we can easily buy, collect or make our own personalized guitar picks more conveniently. Some were printed and some were engraved. Personalized guitar picks now use logos and signatures from bands and companies as a form of marketing.
There were also some valuable personalized guitar picks made from rare materials like jade or quarts. Yes, those semi-precious materials were not exempted.
Looking back even from the days when I'm not born yet. I can say that guitar accessory like guitar picks play an important role in our music history.
